Does anyone have experience of both in a 600LT? Am seriously considering a change from the 570S to a 600LT and a few I have looked at don't have the B&W so am wondering if there is a big difference?

I do enjoy my music and having a decent sound system in the car. I have B&W in my current 570S so am wondering if I will miss it if I go for a car without it.

Yes you will miss it but the 600lt soundtrack is altogether more raw and noisier, and not as quiet and cosseting as a 570 in any event

LT is pretty loud inside the cabin and full of raw noises biggrin

Just go with the standard, plus dash looks better w/o that weird tweeter in the middle.

I've got the standard and find it good enough. The biggest frustration is the DAB forever cutting out hehe

Got B&W in my 720 and whilst it has lots of speakers, it still sounds poor... DAB reception also patchy. But love the drive and the sound of the exhaust and turbos more than makes up for it. So go for basic stereo imho.

In the LT, the standard doesn’t really make any difference vs the B&W.

And as RBT0 states, the standard has the bonus of not having that oddly misplaced tweeter in the middle of the dash.

Reminds me when Porsche introduced the “wart” when you spec’d the sports chrono.

Actually that tweeter is signature design of their Nauitlus range. Fantastic imaging in the home, but wasted in cars in general, given high ambient noise. Much more so in a 600LT.

In 2 years of Ferrari 458 ownership I've never worried about in car sound. (or Nav, or Phone, they just don't work very well /at all). 9000 Rpm flat plane crank V8 does though.

I hear you, but unfortunately one can't sit at 9,000rpm for an entire journey or when sitting in traffic or pootling through town...so for those occasions, I do like my in-car music and having a decent soundsystem - I also find that some good music can also get you in the mood when on a spirited drive and can help add to drama

I went with the standard stereo system in mine, the 600LT is just too noisy even at low speeds to benefit much from a "decent" sound system.

Didn’t realise so many LT owners here.
