I absolutely love the 570S and already thought it was one of the best value cars on sale. Now I see the lowest priced car on AT has now breached £90k:

Now yes, it's done 34k, but surely with a car like this more miles is better than less. McLarens always work better when used and any niggles will surely have been worked out by now. Still got warranty and that can be extended too.

I just don't think I've seen anything better value or more exotic for £90k. Thoughts?

As a friend of mine who owns a Murcielago once said: "Doors go up, panties go down" hehe

I suppose the R8 V10 Plus might be a good shout at a similar price, but is it as special? I don't think so.

Bare in mind that’s what they re selling for some one has sold it to them for 75-80k

The 570s imho runs circles around the Audi R8 however I sold mine just and blew a small fortune which is a shame , amazing car but the ever falling resalability prices of these leave them to wonder just how fast they will go into the relms of 50k I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what they hit come summer next year ...... shame as I loved ,one but only down the to figures I parted

Wonder what GFV would be on something like that with circa 5k a year phone

Stick 20k down... GFV 50K? jeeezz maybe one day I will be able to afford a supercar lick
(yes I am expecting, "leave 10k a year for running and repairs etc etc" responses)

I went to view this when it was up for sale at 97k a month ago, and remember figures like 10k down approx 800 per month and on a purchase hire, final payment would of been approx 68k.

If you take 7k off that, that provides some real prospective and is a big discount!

I think McLaren Glasgow's pricing takes into account their extension at the back for bigger servicing capability and to get stock moving.

Just dropped back the courtesy 570S Spider I had for the weekend while my V12VS was being serviced...the hype is real folks these are just incredible drivers cars. Had spotted the one above alright, 90k seems like an absolute steal with another years warranty thrown in (mileage wouldn't concern me tbh).As much as I love my Vantage and my previous V10 R8 the only place they are better than the 570S is in the noise dept (he 570 still sounds great when you get the revs up), in every other facet the 570s is on another level.

There's any number of Gallardos at this price point in just about every configuration.

How about an LP560-4 for some normally aspirated V10 goodness. biggrin

The realistic sellers seem to be trickling through and some prospective buyers are becoming giddy with excitement. Mercedes GT range looks excellent value now also but it will become even better!

Fairly old tech at this stage compared to a 570s (charismatic wonderful sounding old tech admittedly!). I had the use of a 580-2 Huracan for a day recently, great car stunning to look at but the Mc the better car to drive for sure.

Utter bargain that. Not good for us current owners though!

I was on the point of starting the research and buying a 12C but I'll hold off now for a few months, may even wait until next year. I can see 570's coming down into the £80-90k range for a very nice car later this year, that's going to be hard to ignore. Maybe the Spider will get close to £100-110k.
Problem buying the 12C now as I see it is they will get hit quite hard when this happens especially one's with a few miles logged.

My that is a good mileage for a 2 year old 570S - big up to the previous owner smile

My bet is that McL have taken this in px against a new McL (or similar)? - I can't see them buying in 2nd hand stock to sell on with that mileage?

Whatever I reckon it is an absolute steal and is priced to move on quickly smile

McL priced like this will have a serious effect on the general Supercar market when folk realize how technically advanced these cars are over the competitionsmile

All my opinion of course smile

A bit too heavy and slow, cheap interior and a bit too numb 4 wd handling. Sounds nice, though.

That 570s has got to be the performance car bargain of the century.

Anyone buying that car will be getting a whole lot of performance in the latest newest model and with McLaren warranty .

Everyone into cars needs a spin in a 570 Mac as the quoted Bhp seems to me to be very pessimistic compared to the actual performance . This I think is why Macs trounce the opposition all ends up

Lol. Heavy and slow...

LP560-4: 0-60 3.7s / 202mph / 1500kgs
570S 0-60 3.1s / 205mph / 1344kgs

These are tiny tiny differences which in the real world make bugger all difference. 0.6s is barely a blink of an eye. Technically you are correct though....if you are playing Top Trumps.

I accept the 570S is probably the better drive though.

The Gallardo is a great car - great engine - and its certainly not about the numbers. Its about how the Mac fells - the steering, the agility, the top end punch - just in a different league.

In a world going hybrid/EV ( and electric steering), this may be one of the last great (relatively) light-weight, mid-engined, feelsome mainstream models.

Never you mind

Try a RWD Gallardo. Just as quick 0 - 60, lighter as well (1350KG(?)) and the steering has bags of feel as it's not 4WD. Oh and the noise, my god the noise is epic.

Wouldn't mind a go in a 570 though just to see what all the fuss is about. However if I turn up at Mc Leeds I doubt I would get a test drive. I just don't look like the normal high end car buyer.
