Super Series suspension

Great explanation of the amazing 720S suspension system. A must view for any super series owner, or anyone interested in the engineering.

Yes, thanks for the link.
I particularly liked his clear explanation of the benefits under warp conditions (at 6:50 in the video), which you cannot achieve with traditional rollbars. That's also what I feel I benefit most from, keeping all tyres in contact on poor roads.
I guess that's why Mac's can achieve "warp" speed......
He doesn't say it but the McL system also has the benefit of allowing an individual wheel to react to a bump without upsetting the other side, by having the compressed fluid to move to all three other sides.
One can see why traditionalists can complain about feeling less connected, but actually its the opposite - just a question of getting used to the benefit. In contrast, my V12 Vantage now feels unnecessarily harsh and bounces all over the place.

I thought I’d give another shout to this amazing suspension. Yes, was great on track except that I had to get used to the fact that I was carrying an extra 20 mph into corners, so had to really trail-brake for turn in, but then nicelly rocking onto the rears on exit in track mode.
But last weekend spent whole day doing chores in the Tesla, with the SO as usual complaining that I was taking roundabouts too fast and making her sick.
But then went out in the evening in the 650s. Absolutely no complaints even though I was definitely more aggressive on the same roundabouts. She even said the car was a lot smoother, and took a nap on the way back home.....

I’ve love it - smooths out the bumpy roads around me so you can properly drive them instead of being bounced around and being limited by the car. And on track it’s amazing - the first car I’ve owned where you can brake all the way to the apex carrying a lot more speed - incredible car!
