For those of you who track your cars what insurance company do you use? With my Porsches I have always used Manning but with them the quote for the McLaren is almost 3x what I am currently paying for a non trackday policy.

I used manning for my Porsches and track days back in the day, I still use them to insure my cars and trackday cover is included as it was before, as a guide my GT3 was circa £700 ? cant remember exactly but McL is just over the 1k mark

not sure if helps but a guide for you

I looked around a fair bit last year and Manning still came out tops for me.

Slightly off topic, but how much are the inspections by McLaren pre & post track day, to maintain your warranty?

Haven't actually done any track days for a few years now the cover just happens to be on the policy because I'm with manning.

Competition car ins underwritten by Aviva. Includes 6 track days. Just got a comparison quote from Pace ward. Was 25% more headline plus £350 per trackday.

And yes, re inspection.

I've just had a quote from Manning UK. £1200 for road and track cover for UK events plus track days at Nurburgring (not public days). Cover can be purchased for other European events at £250 a time. As a comparison insuremytrackday.co.uk quoted just over £300 per track day with no road cover.

That's for an Exige V6, value £44k.

Does anyone know of any other companies I can try?
