Quite an eclectic mix of cars.

The guide at the Pagani factory said that a few of the workers there also drove Elises.

I used to regularly take my Testarossa, Delta HPE HF and Integrale Evo 1 when I worked there 12 years ago. Ron used to love a bright yellow Testarossa in the car park after a Ferrari win after a race weekend biggrin

I live 800 yards from the Mercedes F1 factory. I have considered doing a donut in their car park in my F430 after a Ferrari race win. Sadly the opportunities are scarce frown

My sister use to work for Ron ( and Lisa ) many years ago and was offered a company car in any colour she liked........ until Ron had a sleepless night and told her it had to be grey.

Nice mix - all cool in their own way apart from ordinary A5 and 6 series convertible.

Only one I don't like - Mustang convertible

When I worked there I drove an Audi RS2, Subaru Legacy GTB and left just before the Merc deal became an option. Most people there lived locally and were away so often than a car was a car and so long as it ran who cared. With test and race teams so busy in the late 90's few people had time to invest in anything exciting nor were they willing to spend the money.

We seem to have a fair few ex Mclaren staff here. What are you all doing now and why haven't you set up a McLaren Independant? smile

Incidentally, I was interviewed to be the Marketing Product Manager for the 570S before the project started. I have no automotive experience but am an experienced marketer. Obviously this job is something of a dream for most petrolheads + it was about 15 mins from my house. They took about 3 months to get back to me and I had got down to the final selection but they gave the job to someone who came from the industry. Gutted to say the least but my career is way more advanced now than it would have been had I got that job. I have not paid much attention to the 570s since launch.

Worked there 15 years, man and boy... In the 90's it was quite a close-knit family type business. Once we moved to MTC in 2003 it expanded rapidly into a soul-less big company business. Talking of the cars, that car-park is rammed full of employees cars everyday, approach roads and all. The earliest leave time is 4:30pm, so most of them have to go outside and do the parking merry-go-round, and the ones that stay on come back to their desks. Good luck if you want to get out at lunch-time. Of course, the Directors get their own separate car-park and approach road, so they're ok...

I had visions of all McLaren employees being fitted with an explosive device round their necks which would go off if the perimeter of the MTC was breached during office hours like in Running Man
