Anyone know McLaren Spider registration "1 ARJ" ?
Discussion
I've had a look at a 2013 Volcano Orange McLaren Spider (12C) for sale privately, registration number 1 ARJ.
Does anyone know the car?
The 1st service was done about 1 month late which i don't think is an issue but the 2nd service was nearly 6 months late.
I'm guessing this may affect my ability to extend the warranty when it runs out in a few months......?

Hi, sorry I dont know the car but regards extending the warranty give Ben at Mclaren Ascot a call, he is a really nice guy and normally only too happy to help.
From a buyers point of view as long as the car has undergone an annual service I would be happy provided it hadnt covered excessive miles in between.
Depends as well on the time of year, I once bought a 360 in October that needed a service, it was going bar maybe 100 miles straight into winter hibernation so made no sense to service until March before use.

I believe servicing is best done BEFORE hibernation. Corrosive substances arising from combustion enter the oil during use. You don't want these coating metal bearing surfaces during a winter layup. Fresh oil makes more sense.Sorry for the hijack.
