Since the Iris 1 system already has a built in iPod/iPhone USB interface and only requires a regular cable, I assumed the Tune2Air adaptor that worked in my V12V would work too, since it merely fools the system into thinking you have an iPhone/iPod at the end of the adaptor (http://amzn.to/1UDIbSQ).

Unfortunately it doesn't work so I was wondering if anyone found a way to bluetooth stream audio?

Hi, sorry can't help much but just to add that I can't get my generation 1 iPod classic to work in the car.
If anyone has any ideas or ways around would appreciate.
I'm currently using an old iPhone as the music supply but battery always flat unless remember to charge indoors before or drive for an hour or more.

With your problem are you talking about linking to an FM type receiver via Bluetooth ?
I have used a Jabra cruiser 2 with great results in other cars.

No, it's a small bluetooth dongle which connects to the end of the iPhone lead. The dongle connects to the iPhone so it's as if the iPhone is plugged in directly but is actually wireless.
