12C Servicing intervals and costs
Discussion
I'm sure somebody will be more specific but roughly speaking the service is every 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever is sooner and they alternate from major and minor which are circa £1800 and £1200 respectively. I understand the main difference is the hydraulic suspension element.
There are other things that need doing after various stages such as a gearbox service which comes I think soon after 20,000 miles at a small cost and so on.

Actual prices paid - £1200 for the first year and £1900 for the 2nd year service, excluding consumables. Am just doing the 3rd year service now which is ~£1600 but includes some stuff to be replaced that is lifed at 20k miles a bit early as i am a bit ocd about maintenance (on 18k miles and the car has been driven quite hard with a quite few trackdays this year). Not sure who quoted those numbers above to you but they are way above what any other owner i know has paid purely for servicing.

Just what I was told when I rang the service dept at Birmingham 6 months ago and that was with consumables
Define consumables.....strange they were quoting you a service price with stuff like tyres and pads. If you don't believe the actual prices i have paid, feel free to call them to ask again and just the year one and 2 service costs. Purely servicing should not cost the amounts you were quoted.isaldiri said:

I do believe your costs but I'm a bit perplexed at the varying costs quoted by dealersGassing Station | McLaren | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
