I love this car, it just does what it says on the tin, and more.
Everywhere I go I get photographed, pointed at, followed by people videoing me.
Everyone loves it, all love the fact that it is British.
Best car I have ever had, fro a whole host of reasons.
Love it.
Have you had all the updates done ? 2013 software upgrade, 2014 IRIS hardware & software upgrade and the latest P13 upgrade ?Everywhere I go I get photographed, pointed at, followed by people videoing me.

Just wondered if it made any significant difference from original cars

How much does it cost ? IRIS II was £2,495 and by the sound of it this is much more
I have spoken to McLaren Manchester, seems it's just an upgrade for the wing, nothing else, I have just upgraded my Iris, so if it was a paid for upgrade I will not be too pleased. In summary, no cost, I hope.
Free upgrade. I think McLaren are just officially quoting 'wing' but a number of owners on McLife are reporting that there are definite other changes to their cars - transmission shifting differently plus some engine power delivery alterations. Could be just american market but I wouldn't think so.
Edit; I'm not suggesting any hardware, only software.

IRIS II is hardware and software as far as I'm aware and I was quoted £2,495 to have it done by a Mac dealer. Maybe it comes free with a service at the factory or as part of the deal when buying the carIn summary, no cost, I hope.
