That reminds me, didn't McLaren do an update that prevented flames coming out the exhausts. If so, from when ?
They did, I got a little booklet on the software update when I bought the car but it seems all they have done is restrict the ability to rev it repeatedly in neutral so they should all still do the flames during normal driving conditions.potentially looking to do a deal on this car, anyone know this one or maybe some's EX car???

i could work with this car!!
just need to find if its got any skeletons.... the deal is so close. I wish it had the better seats but outside of that i love it..... carbon packs, full body PPF, low miles and owners.... the spider would be the dream but these guys are also willing to do a GOOD p/X deal which is also helpful.

Google Image search the registration number, quite a few Macs you'll find a pic or two online which can give a clue to history.just need to find if its got any skeletons.... the deal is so close. Seats can be changed down the line for a cost if you still care in a year or two.
<1k miles a year seems on the low side to me, it would be interesting to know how many it's covered in each of the last two years (check the MoT history), a car that's basically been mothballed for a year or two can throw up a glitch or two when brought back into use.

good points.... car reg is mc68ren , can't seem to find anything on this one ..... agree'd R.E low miles....i know this could be issues, from the mot history its done roughly 800 miles per year so a low use car..... i do have some carbon fibre tillets in my workshop that i can adapt for the car but again id stick with it for abit, haven't had chance to see the car yet but VERY tempted. Interior spec is pretty boring but that's a minor. Seats can be changed down the line for a cost if you still care in a year or two.

Same colour as mine but a bit older, not a bad spec at all but as you say the interior isn’t that great, Seats do pop up for sale now and again which are Interchangeable but not sure what’s required from the electrical side, you’d be stuck with the leather dash though I would image, I’ve had 2 now, both with the Senna seats, they are a work of art and comfy enough if your a regular sort of size/shape,, Spyders offer some open top motoring without giving much away, I’ve had 1 convertible in 40 years of motoring so can give or take them, Coupe looks better than Spyder with roof up , what sort of warranty do Redline offer? Be good if you could get a McLaren extended one on it for peace of mind at least for the first 12 months..

LT has to have the P1s or Sennas as either will really enhance the driving experience for that reason I wouldn’t buy this one…I guess you could source some P1s for £10k ish but that means you’re into a coupe at a very high price all things considered.
Yes he could have my “20” plate for that money ,,,, your “in” the car with the P1’s and Sennas, your more “on” it with the comforts,,Only hit is some snaps of it at Bicester in April '22

At least it's not been stationary from the MoT history, 500 miles since March.
I wonder if it really wore out its factory Pirellis inside 5k miles, or the owner just wanted either (a) some actual grip in the British climate or (b) replaced the tyres on age rather than wear.
I can't really tell the brake discs from the pics, but worth making sure of their condition.
Seats are very personal for obvious reasons, I wouldn't assume that the 'best' seats are actually best for you without sitting in one.

Hi davyt, electrical side of things is not an issue R.E the seats , we've got an inhouse auto electrician at work who can work some magic for me. leather dash sucks , i can't lie i don't love the interior of this car but i do feel its a minor. Not sure if the price is right?? seems to be decent in comparison to whats up atm. Redline warranty is only 6months sadly. So tempted to pull the trigger on this one but not sure if i should hold out for a better interior spec. sometimes if your not careful your waiting for ever!

Lots of folk do wait forever and end up not buying , there’s a few cars for sale at the minute so better for you as a buyer, a few months ago there was about half the number,, I suppose having a p/x limits you a bit also,, you need to go see the car anyway, try those seats out and make sure everything else looks ok,,electrical side of things is not an issue R.E the seats , we've got an inhouse auto electrician at work who can work some magic for me. leather dash sucks , i can't lie i don't love the interior of this car but i do feel its a minor.
