Look at just how much of Lamborghini's DNA was born in this one car - it's quite incredible.



I'm not a fan of Lamborghini's current designs, they're fussy and cluttered in my opinion, but every element of beauty that remains appears to stem from this single model. What a machine! I had no idea that the LP400 was so beautiful until I seen it from this angle.

Arguably, the design was influenced by the Alfa Romeo Carabo concept:



Both it and the Countach were styled by Marcello Gandini whilst at Bertone.
And both a stunning to look at IMHO.

Looks even better when compared to the Anniversary in some of the sales photos, i assume they both belonged to ths same person
