1. How many hours will that sink all together do you think?

2. Always thought you needed more space!

3. Is Mike still coming in day-to-day - there was a rumour he’d stepped back?

1. a lot of hours have gone into the chassis already, we decided to weld all the holes up so when fixing the panels we can drill new ones, it a labour of love tho, so not counting.

2. its like the Tardis at Carrera Sport

3. yes Mike is in everyday, wild bulls could not keep him away

amazing how complex that chassis is- how stiff is it compared to other cars of the period (Boxer, Vantage, Allegr..nevermind)??

looks like a great thread, thank you!!

This is what happens if you take the car to Iain Tyrrell with a funny noise… ‘while you’re in there’

That looks very brave without a factory jig guys, there isn’t unchanged to it I look forward to it coming together.

Pretty sure they don't need much advice from Iain Tyrrell (good though he is) or a factory jig to know what to do...
The only place I send mine and more knowledge than anyone in UK
Looking forward to seeing it all come together, and trying not to be tempted!

we have jigged and replaced the front screen / roof supports and the chassis's suspension pick up points have all been checked.

Your restoration must be well under way by now ,looking forward to seeing it finished .

Did see the car when it first arrived at Mikes (all in one piece) ,

the second time it was in many parts scattered over the workshop.

Think we may have met when you were with Mike at Wheels Day 2022 ,

Didn't see him there this year , with so much going on there i may have missed him.
