Would you know if it was ever put on a Countach or just bought as a investment?

If still in the hands of the same owner who purchased it from DVLA it's no surprise it didn't sell.

Would only be valuable to someone who owns a 5000 S ,not much meaning otherwise.

Although values on Countachs have steadied down a little i would have thought having it on a 5000 S would put value to the car

at least covering the cost of the plate. What's the chance of being offered it again, one off opportunity ,

A personal plate for the car rather than the owner and once on will probably stay with the car as that's where the value is.

Definitely a case of "How long is a piece of string"

I says it was on a car on the reg doc.
Someone in LCUK has 50 OOS on his Countach.

That's surprised me, as i said thought the value would be leaving it on the car.

Probably doesn't help that it's now difficult to alter the position of the digits to misinterpret the true registration number

and could get tiresome being pulled up on a regular basis not to mention expensive.

Maybe the car is being sold and the buyer doesn't want the plate, either got his/her own or being exported.

Thanks for the reply.

You learn something every day teacher, didn't know this model was offered with such a large engine, I owned one similar some years ago,
Can't remember if it had a 5 or 4 cylinder,

I put 50 OOS on my Countach and sold the plate with the car, and according to DVLA it is still on it.
