Lamborghini Miura & Espada
Discussion
Concours Het Loo 2018:
Since my time began a Miura and Espada are favorites and that has not changed. It never will I guess.
I was 11 when I saw my first Espada and in 2005 a mate invited me in his 1st owner S3. In 2006 a UK mate shared a brief spin. They are truly amazing.
A Miura however is from another planet. It is so beautiful it will make your eyes water. Last friday I sat in this one.
Did I fit in? Well, only just. Is it magic? Hell yes.

Having driven a few Miura's and even more Espada mk1 mk2 and mk3, I think it is fair to say that the Miura is a great car but you would not want to live with it every day.
The Espada however can be used every day and it will put a smile on your face.
I watched 'Harry' Metcalfe review his Espada recently and as he said, the Miura is now more common than the Espada. I know the Espada is also more comfortable and will take you, your luggage and three passengers with ease. Something the Miura could never do.
So both great cars, I would like to have both cars in my garage but the Espada would get more use.

I have had a couple of meetings with Roger Phillips and Del but things have stalled at the moment due to Roger's health.
I am still hopeful that something will come out of it.
How is the Jarama coming on?
Slightly off topic, but have you considered using blurb.com to self-publish your book, I have a friend who uses their services to print limited run books and they are superb. I am still hopeful that something will come out of it.
How is the Jarama coming on?
I have no experience of using this, but one other other option may be to self-publish an eBook or paperback for free with Kindle Direct Publishing, link is: https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US

Thx, I've tried to do Blurbs of my car pics in 2006, 07 and 08 but with little luck. Every now and then I sell a file for a posterprint. Thx!
Then I suggest you take the lens cover off your camera, it is simply not possible to take a poor photo of a Countach, you are living the dream P5BNij said:
Odd - just wondering what happened to the similar thread in the Classics section... it's vanished.
This one: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... ?No dink, I meant the one you started at the same time as this one in the 'classics / yesterday's heroes' section with the same photos as this one, which a few of us added to... it's disappeared completely unless there's something wrong with my PC settings. Did you or the mods delete the entire thread...? Problem with photo copyright or something...?
Edited to add : your link above now bookmarked for rainy day perusal, naturally...
Edited further to add : tomorrow I'll be at the NEC and I can say for certain that my poor old mate will have to drag me kicking and drooling away from the Italian exotica on show...
