VMax200 and Countach Lunch. What a weekend
Discussion
I'm still buzzing from last weekends combined trip down south to VMax200 and Rob's annual Countach Lunch.
I travelled the 200 miles down to Vmax on the Saturday arriving around 11am, with rain still falling. Entertaining to watch a few M4s and GTRs pull 360s off the line with a loss in grip and an amazingly loud Aventador that buzzed me as I drove to the start line. Whilst waiting for the rain to stop and watching the pair of 1-77 Aston's blast up the runway, I spotted the F40 pull up. I was immediately back to being a teenager again and had to pull the two 80s poster cars together for a few shots.
After a bit of banter with the owner and the photographers we decided to pull off an old skool drag race and did a few runs up the runway. Still awaiting for all the footage to come together but I do have a teaser video up on instagram as @tristecracing
I then spotted the lightening had been pulled out of it's hanger, so a must have shot. just wish I had more than an iPhone to take my pics. Thankfully some of the pros have stated to post good shots up of both cars together over the past few days.
After a night with AirBnB in Rockingham i had just a 3 mile drive to the Countach gathering. I even managed to clean the car (note wheels are black at Vmax but silver at Countach meet. Highlight was driving through the tunnel into the centre of Rockingham raceway with 7 Countach together.
I'll start to post some pics to this thread from my phone. Hope you enjoy them.

Great shots Tris! I quite like the CT with charcoal wheels
The weekend was awesome for us Countach chaps. We gathered at Rockingham race circuit and got out and did some parade laps. Pictures will follow when the fabulous Dan Pluck ( @pluckphoto ) sorts through the 'few' he took. We then headed onto Stapleford Park for Sunday lunch.
A couple of the owners took video of the track action. First one is up on YouTube as link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2m7LT1FfdwQ
Full screen and pump up the volume.
Harry M attended and did a piece at Stapleford, which will hopefully be up on his YouTube stream shortly.
More pictures to follow when we have them. Stay tuned!

The wonderful Harry Metcalfe has posted up his video of the day. I love Harry's style and presentation. Such an easy chap to watch and full of great detail and story telling.

I suggest you watch on YouTube in full screen mode.
Many thanks to you Harry, top man sir.

Hey Dan, what can I say except to say thank you for another excellent set of photographs. I particularly liked the low level photo taken looking between the two Countachs which I've not seen done before. Top marks indeed.Loads more to come and should have the whole bunch finished this weekend.
