Everything you wanted to know about sex, but were afraid to ask - Miura (brief glimpse)
The man who haunted himself - Islero

one of my all time favourite films as I mentioned in the original post, is 'fair game' - a TV movie only ever broadcast once in 1994, the night before the world cup started. It was on late so I set the old VHS to record it, not knowing the feature car was a Miura, I only taped it because it was centred around the 1970 world cup.
Check out a bit of the film here, the car appears from 01.13, and continues to make regular appearances throughout the film. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ya9JMMsIhZE

It was a very good film. Never understood why it was not shown again, even in World Cup years. The owner of the Miura is(was?) on here.Check out a bit of the film here, the car appears from 01.13, and continues to make regular appearances throughout the film. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ya9JMMsIhZE
RE: The Fair Game film. I owned the car for twenty odd years until 2006, The film was made at the back end of 1993 and I was told it cost circa £2m to make. As has been mentioned previously the 'Beeb' have only shown it once! When you consider how much rubbish they incessantly repeat why on earth a two hour feature film of this standard stays on the shelf after costing so much to produce is beyond my comprehension. By the way the first exotic location we filmed at was Preston Bus Station, I drove the car down from the top floor to the exit but my film debut ended up on the cutting room floor. (That was the end of my Hollywood career!)As far as I am aware the car now resides in Japan.

hey, thanks for the info! Were you given a copy of the film by any chance? I guess this was pre-DVD days (I certainly didn't have a DVD player back then!) I have transferred my VHS to DVD but the quality is not brilliant, and would love to find a better copy. The guy who uploaded to Youtube contacted me several years ago to say he had a copy taped from TV but the ending was missing. Send me a PM if you can help, thanks very much.Hi sonicbloo, I only have my VHS copy. Unfortunately. Like yours the first 5 mins got screwed up when the M.D. of the company I worked for pressed the wrong button, after I loaned it to him. (P-----k!!!) The Beeb were going to send me a copy of the 'offcuts' but it never happened. I think that this was Lena Headey's first film, on a couple of occasions my wife and I had dinner with her after filming finished for the day. I'm waiting for the time when the Beeb have a brainwave and show it again. Next year would be perfect, to coincide with the World Cup.

Every four years I hope that it will be shown again, but no! Pity, as it's a really good film.SAB888 said:
