Surprised theres no one talking about the Revuelto on here? Becoming a fairly common site on London roads now quite a few of them around. Any owners here moved from an Aventador S / SVJ - what do you think? Im sure there is a massive difference in driving experience due to the dual clutch system now but has it become to refind and lost the rawness of the Aventadors?
Seen prices already dropping from the rather eager £850ks to the £650k's which are near list price now....

it will be interesting to see how these fare. Hybrids dont seem to do well residual wise (SF90, 296GTB), and i think its partly due to the price hike over the ICE equivalent cars, and the fear of the complexity of the powertrain. The Aventador coupe was £280k.

Frustratingly seen an official dealer hiking the price way above list. I'm sure Lambo can't be impressed with that type of approach from their own dealership network!?

Tested back to back with my SV and prefer what I have in all honesty. I admire the Rev for what it is, but found it too sterile and lacking the edges that make a lambo, a lambo.
Anyway, just me, but seeing what the special versions will look like, although imagine they will be 800k plus and at that point that’s fairly strong money for any car.

I tried one too and preferred the rawness of my LP740....Sound wise there is no comparison either the Aventador is way nicer sounding.
The only thing I would have is the dual clutch from the Revuelto and the Aventador would be IMHO the ideal supercar.
Like others have said will be interesting to see how the Revualto values pan out as all other Hybrids have really tanked! At £400k I would be tempted in to one!

Enough with the SF90/296 comparisons. The Revuelto is the flagship model with a V12, while the latter are V8s and sound like a Dyson vacuum. Additionally, the Revuelto attracts different buyers; most are existing Lambo owners who aren't cross-shopping. Let's also not forget that the SF90 was a flop the moment it was announced and has never recovered.
Value wise, this is the norm for Lamborghini. Prices are going up for new models. I doubt the Revuelto prices will crash anytime soon because who knows how long we will get to enjoy cars with a V12, even in hybrid form so you might as well enjoy them whilst we can.
Personally, having driven the Revuelto and my SVJ, I would keep my SVJ because it's a special car, but the Revuelto is better in every aspect: performance, braking, and interior quality.

You have to be a full Lambo die hard to have the wool pulled over your eyes to be shelling out £600+k for one of these.

Imo Lambo have given up trying to be the fastest drag racing cars out there, and are concentrating more on fun to drive and occasion. No one is going to beat a pure electric setup in the traffic light race, and Lambo have resisted for as long as possible from going turbo/electric assistance, and that’s what their customers want.
I suspect the Huracan replacement will answer a lot of the ‘performance’ issues but I think it won’t be as popular as the V10, models going forward. Anyway we’ll know more in a cpl of weeks..

A few friends have them, moved on from their AVs, they’re not as enamoured with them, better car for sure but has dialled out something the av had, which is why many preferred the AV to the more accomplished Huracan, (+V12) AV is a modern old school supercar, thats what i wanted and love about it.
Moving it into Macca territory? I think it’ll be a tough call to compete here with either them or ferrari, lambo has always been about flare rather than outright capability.
Personally dont think the styling moved things on much either, unlike every single V12 before it.

Name one Lamborghini V12 model that was quicker than the Ferrari flagship. The fact is the Lamborghini V12 has always been too heavy, too wide, and it's more about the theater and wow factor than actual performance.
Comparing the R to the A in terms of performance, it's night and day. Also, the dual clutch makes it much more enjoyable to drive, especially in the city. At higher speeds, you still get the kickback from the clutch like the A. Like I said, overall, it's a massive step up from the A, and in real life, the R has a lot more presence.

To be fair, the early R's have a lot of software issues that still need to be dealt with. I'm shocked that Yianni is freely driving his R when others are going into the shop every week for updates. This is why it would be interesting to see full clips of his dash when he's drag racing. I'm sure he's getting errors. Also, the R's limp mode acts differently than the A's; you still have close to max power, but acceleration is decreasedIts an interesting saying that one, ‘more money than sense’

And funnily, its one of the reasons people dream about winning the lottery, to lose the worry about money, how on earth do you think that release of not worrying about money would effect you?

I was overtaken my a Murcielago on the Autobahn - god that car looked and sounded nice. Wish I had bought one when they were semi-affordable. I like V12 Lamborghinis a lot, so will reserve judgement until I see the R in person. If it sounds nice and looks good, then that is more than half the battle won imo.

OH they look amazing and sound pretty decent given the current regulations however its not £550k nice and thats the issue! HOw they can price a cars replacement (Aventador) and double the price kinda makes no sense. Its like saying the next gen Huracan will be £400k....and it seems that may well be happening too!
