Pistonheads Classifieds
Discussion
Been looking at a few cars recently, all very different from each other in their own way, But cars that i want to buy privately.
And when iv been looking at PH Classifieds i feel like im having to trail through pages of 'Arnold Clark' style garage adverts, selling over priced base models before getting to the looked after, pride and joy adverts.
Not so long ago you used to come here for enthusiast owned, looked after, pride and joy cars, Now it seems like your looking at what you can find at the local car supermarket.
Bit disappointing and i got bored trailing through for now.
Nothing against dealers, Just feel the Classifieds has lost its 'unique' magic it had.

The number of dealer adverts is very dependant on the category you are searching in, if you head to a TVR section then you'll find very few, if you head to the Vauxhall Astra section then that is what the majority of adverts will be.
The best option is to use the filter tools, either to specify a location/price/whatever or just to filter out the trade adverts completely.
