Surely a charity event for kids hasnt fallen foul of PH forum rules?

If we can have Wilton House on the front page (several times) ?

The event is still on, but unable to advertise on here.

Hopefully there will be a SWPH Breakfast Meet beforehand and anyone wanting to join the convoy afterwards will be more than welcome

All advertising (Charity or otherwise) must be run past Garlick first, once you have permission you can then post it in the forums. If it is a big/interesting enough event then we might even give you some coverage via the news pages, but if you post without asking first then it will be deleted.

thats a bit mean spirited, a non commercial event and all that. What has the (PH) world come to (unless its to protect reputation of PH following some recent incidents on arranged runs, which I could understand)

It's simply a matter of the size of the site. If charity events were an exception to the rule then we'd be swamped by begging threads, which would detract from the people who are doing big and interesting things for charity.

We aren't saying "No!", we are just saying you need to ask first.
