Advert delisted - question

I was watching an advert last Saturday which had just been posted on the website on that same day and then contacted the private seller. A day after, I checked the page again and found that the page had been delisted. I am not in the UK and was interested in buying the car.
Could it be that pistonheads had delisted the page as they found out that it was a scam?
The seller told me that the car is still for sale and that "The auction has been ended early for a 'buyer' and it looks like he failed for a Ioan."
Please help me out as I do not know whether this is a scam.

The quality of the English in that email should be ringing plenty of alarm bells, you can be pretty certain that it is a scam.

I contacted the seller through the contact details at the bottom of the page. It is strange how I was not contacted by PH that the advert was removed for suspicion of scam. I suppose they do have my email address as I submitted it through the PH website. Do PH usually send warnings to persons who queried the car?

Yes we do, which is why I was asking.
