What's New / Last 24 hours

"What's New" is really useful, as is "Last 24 hours".

However, a "What's New Since..." or "Last xxx" would also be useful.

More specifically, I just logged on after a few days absence and used "What's New", but halfway through had to close my browser. Now I want to resume my trawl through "What's New", but of course it has been reset.

Since I've been away for longer than 24 hours, then "Last 24 hours" is no help, neither is "What's New". I really need to be able to reset my "What's New" to its previous value, if you see what I mean.
