Spam Ads in Classifieds?

This has probably been covered a good few times, but i've seen a few ads in the classifieds with the identical comment at the bottom saying:

"!!! Please e-mail me directly at .************** because if you will e-mail me through PH your messages will go to my spam folder and they will be automatically deleted.Thanks !!!"

Just with different email addresses. The cars seem unusually cheap.

I could be way off but I was struck by the identical message on a few ads. Is it something odd?

I've reported one, (A Subaru) since on first inspection the car looked an amazing buy.

So are they 'monkey ads'?

It is a new tactic our friendly local scammers are trying. They have figured out that when we spot one of their ads and remove it we email a warning to everyone who contacted them, so they are trying to get people to contact them outside of the PH system.

We have automatic automatic checks in place as well as making regular sweeps to look for any that have slipped through the net, but if you spot any then as said above, hit the report button and we'll get rid.
