I did wonder. Seemed a reasonable topic of conversation. More interesting than the various "which estate for £4500 to move a small dog threads"
It's like no one on Pistonheads has ever used a car to try and pull, I remember being cool as hell when I was 18 with a brand new Merc, the ladies loved me (A140 Classic. Winner)

it has been done dozens of times on tv shows (the which car is most "attractive" to the opposite sex, same bloke in it, hidden camera etc)...why??? because it is an interesting, funny and entertaining social experiment!
And since humanity's future depends a little bit on the attraction that the opposite sexes have for each other...

All the "hairdressers car", Porsche Boxster, MX5 "girls" car and a real man would never be seen dead driving one etc etc is way more sexist or un-PC (what's wrong if a hairdresser wants a sporty convertible and c'ant afford a 911 or SL because his salary is small and he doesn't have the morbid wage of a toff pig with man boobs that works for Goldman!!)
Clarkson can get away with almost everything on the BBC, a thread here on PH about which car a woman finds "sexy" or attractive (...and this differs hugely from man's idea about the topic => that s why its interesting or at least entertaining to chat about!)gets closed after 10 min!!!
Is PH more conservative then the BBC...???
And everybody ranting about the surveillance and "police state" and PC-ness in Britain...

you give somebody a bit of "power" aka admin and there you go...
