Why does PH keep crashing in Chrome?

Im sure this is somehow related to the (frankly rubbish) adservers that you guys are using....but since about 3 weeks ago, PH no longer works consistently with google chrome.

In fact the time taken to serve a lot of these ads seems to be hanging many pages and it really is quite annoying!

Dunno if there is a specific reason why it's affecting Chrome more than IE or FF, but a little investigation to find out why would be very much appreciated

I use Chrome as my main web browser and surf PH at both home and work using it with no issues and find it very fast. So it isn't a problem I have seen here, so not sure what we can do to investigate this.

Though saying that, it probably is linked to the ads across the site, but unfortunately as these could be served from the multitude of ad providers it would be hard to work out if one was causing a specific issue and crashing your browser unless you can see a pattern with it. Also it could be a system issue with the plugins for Chrome that the ads will call on more than any normal part of the site (be it Flash, JavaScript or Java etc)

Sorry not much help, but it is hard to diagnose when we can't see it here.

I use chrome here too, PH has never crashed for me .. in fact, it seems to work better than on IE

isnt that strange......you know how Chrome does the 'oops something has gone wrong' thing...well its ONLY happening with PH and I reckon every time I use it now.....switch to the evil that is IE and all well....

seems more likely its my side than server side then...wonder if it's Vista being ghey somehow....hmm...

I used Chrome on Vista on one of my PCs without any problem.

Chrome works better for me than anything else- no change in the service,

using Vista and IE just dies after a few days of starting using it and Firefox has the major blip of not having a scroll feature- don't know how much you need that button til you miss it
