Unwanted pop-ups

I seem to get numerous pop-ups (in other windows) and it always seems to be when I'm browsing PH. Usually Vodafone, but there have been others.



Is this related to PH?

I've not had any pop-up's although FireFox is pretty good at blocking pop-ups.

Mine is too (usually), however this seems to get round the usual blockers by 'opening in new window' as opposed to the standrad 'pop-ups' which are 'related' the window you are in (I think - I'm no techie)

We don't have any pop-ups on PH, so I'd suggest running an adware scan to see if there are any nasties on your PC.

Completely against our policy, so you won't see pop-ups.

It could be related to some of the images that are linked into the forums, so if you do spot it happening again try revisiting the threads and see if it happens again, and let us know if it does.

But also could be adware related as Will says.
