The massive error message was a reasonable clue.

I've re-subsribed and used a 2nd email address but still no joy, anyone else the same?

We are having a few problems with one of our servers which could be causing this problem.

We hope to have the server back up and running (along with the notifications) very soon.

I got the squid error last night, I was most confused for a minute there. You're reverse proxying and the IIS service keeps dieing on a back end box?
