What's this all about then?

Whenever I hit back on my browser IE8) whilst browsing the forums on PH it pauses and says 'Waiting for http://cdn5.specificclick.net/img...' in the status bar, clicking back a second time seems to get things moving. Only noticed this today, any ideas?

Cdn5.specificclick.net will be related to our adserver, but it shouldn't be causing any hold up or requiring two clicks to get past. Is it still happening or was it a temporary thing?

Just to clarify Mr Will's point, this is not our ad server but a specific ad server that will be serving either ads or a counter for ads served on PH. Adverts across the internet are served from various sources and hosts across the internet, most are out of our control - but as Mr Will says if you see it happening we can block specific slow adverts from showing.

Seems to be working ok now thanks gents, looks like it was just a temporary glitch! Time for a quick browse before packing for Spa...

humm chaps i have had this for a couple of days and was present 10 mins ago.

Ironically i blamed it on a certain adult site but does appear to be PH that is the culprit.

Phew i don't have to explain why my computer is showing wierd click requests, i can just say PH nowt sinister

We'll keep an eye on this, it is a new system but should settle down soon.
