Events/Meetings/Travel - Calendar

Would it be possible to have a sticky at the top of Events/Meetings/Travel which takes the form of a calendar? It would make it easy to select events to go to- for example choosing an event to got to on Saturday could be done by clicking on the 29th August. The events could be added by the people who start each thread.

I have no idea whether it would be possible, but if it was that would be ideal
