Icons along top of post

Think I must be getting slow in my dotage.
Along the top of my posts I have 3 icons for quote, edit and delete. Most other peoples only have the Quote icon

Anyone know how I can remove the edit and delete icons?

No, they're there on all of your own posts. So you can edit, delete or quote them.

It would be entertaining if you could edit other people's posts, but I don't think we would achieve much.

And I always thought my posts were very mundane, I guess I must have been, inadvertently, a bit close to the edge occasionally.

As JustYellowBadge says it was modified by a mod to remove the naming and shaming... just one of the rules of the site.
