Recommended "Lists"

Everyone on here (Except the few that don't own TVR/Lotus/Porsche etc) has had some good/bad experiences of Dealers/Independants for the likes of servicing, sales etc.
What about making up a database/table or sometyhing similar that members enter in the dealers/Independants that they recommend but Only Recommend. (I fear that having a Name and Shame list could bring law suites and other similar unfriendly things) The said list could also have maybe a league table ie most recommended!
This would save trawling through thousands of posts or posting repeat topics!!!
Just an idea!

Too complex an issue. Just because more people use one dealer and read this site and are happy doesn't make it better than a dealer that has fewer readers on here etc. Also much of the debate centres around the relationship that you build with dealers. I'm not trying to be obstructive. I still think the best means of doing the research is to trawl the boards here, ask other owners, talk to the dealers yourself and make your mind up based on that.

Had thought of most problems it could create but missed that one. True enough, it would make for an unfair comparison! Like I said, just a suggestion!!!
