Everytime I read a post and hit the back button I get a new browser session opening with the eBay home page.

Not impressed.

I find ebay opening on another page quite handy , alway go on there for a look it should only happen once a day though IIRC .

It is happening on every page at the moment for me (cookies are on). I even left it open a couple of times but after I got nine seperate windows I closed the whole lot.

Sorry guys. I'm investigating. It should be capped to prevent you seeing more than one a day. I'm not sure what causes the capping to fail in some instances.

Sadly not, I'm running twin screens here and it's massive. Not having much joy negoitiating the size down.

Just trying to work out why some people are getting it multiple times and others just the once.

If one of you who's getting it multiple times has a moment, could you drop me a line and help me investigate?

Sorry guys. It's not fixed. I disabled it temporarily, but still need some assistance in finding out what is different about your configurations in relation to others.

This Ebay thing has gone quite mad, a page opens up every time I click on an forum. If I close it, it re-opens the next time I click on something.

I haven't closed it and after clicking on Website Feedback, post reply, I now have 5 Ebay windows opened up.

I think a plug has come out somewhere and it's looping.

And I haven't blocked session cookies or persistant cookies on my firewall either. (4 more opened up just going into Website Feedback and editing the post)

FWD - you're net savvy. Can you check that it's not some sort of caching issue? Is it reappearing on the same page or a different page? Does it appear on that page on a shift-refresh.

Also, do you have a cookie for 'utarget' on your machine.

I've got a Utarget cookie called "darren@www.utarget.co[2]"

The pages appear each time I click to navigate around the forums.

Just exited PH and reopened a new PH URL and to go from the front page to Gassing/Website Feedback/Post/Edit 4 identical Ebay windows have opened.

We narrowed it down in T4R's case to him blocking third party cookies. How recent is that utarget cookie?

3rd party cookies are how the deliveries are capped for these ads.
