Whilst wandering around Castle Combe today looking for other PHers (I did eventually bump into Ted) I was thinking that it would be useful to be able to text people to find out where they were going to be at these kind of events.

How about allowing us to register a mobile number and allow other users to send a text in the same way that we can send email? I guess the limitations would be around who pays for the text... Just an idea!

Got a better idea: a PH key fob with an electric device that starts beeping when two owners of these keyfobs have less than 10 meters distance from each other

- no running costs other than battery
- nerve killing beep; ignoring impossible

With the blessing of one of the PH friendly teams, I could probably stick a PH banner up on one of the awnings as a focal point.

You could always make a PH badge to wear on your chest

I think there's an e.mail option to other members - so you can always swop mobile phone numbers that way

....but deciding on a meet-up point and time is usually the best way

Or you could wear one of the stylish pieces of Pistonheads clothing available from the PH Shop. Available in a variety of sizes, and for all weather conditions from sunshine to pouring rain.

Right Ted. That's another you owe me
