Freezing screens

For quite a while now my screen often freezes (white screen) after posting a message. I can open up a new Internet Explorer window, open PH and go back into the forums all whilst the other window is just hanging and white. The message has been posted but the screen never recovers.

I have worked out that this happens because I am posting a message on the same thread as someone else.

Is this something at your end of mine.

(XP - latest IE6, all MS updates)
