I am struggling to post a new topic on the Tuscan forum. Keep getting the standard miscrosoft server not found screen when I click post.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Strange. Try hitting shift-refresh?

If you can post here I can't think of a reason why you shouldn't be able to post there. Are you trying to quote/reply/new post?

Trying to a post a new topic.

I've logged in and out, all sorts to try and refresh.

The error is "page not found" when I click post new topic (after doing all the typing).

It is definately the Tuscan forum that is causing me problems (but not other people as posting seems to be going on).

I had a similar problem a little while ago.

mmm... curious.

Just tried a test and it works for me (I would say that though )

When you get the page not found, please could you copy the address in the address bar and post it here.

Are you on a company network Maf? Perhaps you have a caching problem.

Try CTRL-F5 at the same time to force a full refresh

Strange. That URL is invalid (not the right arguments after the question mark).

Please let me know the URL of the post.asp page, i.e. the one with the text box in which you're typing the message.

If you could also do a 'view source' from the menu and send the output to ted@pistonheads.com then I should be able to establish what's going on.

Sorry you're having such trouble.

Actually I'm a bit stumped. That is the right number of arguments.

It's definitely a 404 error?

You got mail Ted.

Maybe it is a setting clash between us somehow?

(Phew, at least this thread is working again for me!)

They all work from here Ted.

Perhaps Norton or something is interfering? Or is there an issue with the email validation?

Ted

Just got a new topic up in the tuscan forum. It seems I have the problem when I paste the text I've saved in Word into the box for posting, rather than type it straight?
