Gas Bag Ratings

Ted, Am I right in thinking the gassing station used to categorise gassers depending on how much they had spouted off in the past? I seem to recall there was a category of 'Gas Bag'?

Anyway it seems like other sites do this (BlatChat seem to) to donate anything from 'newbies' to the 'ultimate gassers'. How about reintroducing it (I notice you record the number of posts in each profile). I reckon it may entice people to gas even more (to inflate their rating) thus increasing the popularity of the site and would also add a little fun if you can think of some amusing categories.

Also you could have the 'Top Ten Gassers of the month' awards based on this info (or you could categorise them on different criteria - like how much bull they talk ).

I chose not to do that because I didn't want it to become Elitest. I think newbies are more likely to post if they don't feel like they're butting into old-timers' conversation

yeah I can see your point, I think you're right.

However I still thing the 'Top Ten Gassers of the month' award ceremony (on the last day of the month) is a good idea though (or alternatively the 'Top 10 Bull-sh1tters of the month' award )
