When I'm at home on my crappy dial up the gassing station works fine.
But when I'm at uni, using fast internet connections and the like the pages take about a minute to load. Its annoying! Any ideas why this is happening? Can I change anything to speed things up?

Probably cos al your Uni mates are "using" the Campus's broadband to help with their studies...

..like Kazaa, and E-mule etc Uploading on a multi-user shared connection slows page transitions and steals bandwidth otherwise used to tell the server what page to load next. At home you are probably the only one sharing your 50k of bandwidth so your pages should load at a reasonable snails pace. I should imagine that most Uni campus connections have at least a 4m/b pipeline so the trick when using PH is to politely tell everyone to stay off while you are "working"

All file sharers are banned since last year, and they strictly enforce it. Its probably more likely to be the foreign students downloading porn Its not advised to be in the computer cluster late at night...........
