Screen refreshing after posting

About 7 times out of 10 when I have posted a message Pistonheads hangs, white screen, nothing. The message is posted. I have to refresh to the main home page and go back into the forums to get back to where I was.

Has anyone else experienced this or is it my computer?

It happens on my laptop and desktop, both on Broadband, both running Zone Alarm Pro (Pistonheads is on Zone Alarms trusted list with all block taken off).

New one on me. Does it hang (i.e. still trying to retrieve data) or does it just go white and stop?

If it does stop then do a View > Source and send that to me and I may be able to help.

Just goes white....

It seems to go white on the thanks for you contribution page (did a view source on the white screen) - I'll email it over if it helps.

Ted... Urgent this is doing my head in. Since yesterday, when I open a thread, read it and click on the "back" button (using IE6) it now goes back to the main list of threads, pauses for a while then refreshes the entire list, and takes ages! Previously when I read a thread I could just click "back" to the main list to exactly the same place as when I left it. It's a real bind as it seems twice as slow and a real lenghty proceedure for it to go through. (Sorry to moan) Rich...

I'm using IE6 but don't have this problem, have you the latest updates from Microsoft.

The exact version I've got is 6.0.2800.xpsp2.021108-1929

Sorry Rich, not sure what's occurring there. I've not made any changes that should affect it. I'll experiment myself.

No I'm on 6.0.2600 but I haven't changed anytiung in my environment for ages but this started happening yesterday. Means I have to open every thread with the shift key and leep the main list in the background. R...

This is the CSS refresh you have in presumaby for netscape users - my pc does a refresh sometimes on the "get focus" of the browser window.
