No real problem - but sometimes (can't detect a pattern) when I reply to threads I get my text appearing in italics and smaller than usual.

Like I say it doesn't affect the way they show up, but thought I would let you know.

It's your editing.

Ted's quoting machine adds a [ i ] and then a [ /i ] (without the spaces) around the name of the poster that you are quoting.

Internet Explorer's highlighting system is based on the standard MFC's system that treats brackets as words - and so you can easily chop off the last ] when you select the bit you want to delete - hence the font goes to italics when you post.

Hope that's clear....????????

It is (nearly!) clear - but it happens even when I am not quoting - just replying. (for example it is happening now) It's not a big problem at all, it is probably something I have done wrong at my end of the net, but it is a bit wierd.

Ah - sorry - being dense... I understand now (ignore my previous post)

What version of browser are you running?

Does it appear in italics to anyone else? I can't see it.

That's the quoting issue. I was under the impression that there was another problem.
