Ted have you thought about adding a "Google" bar or similar to your main page? Then we would have a great excuse for making PH our home page as we could surf from there...

Also when you look at your buddies list - an "electric squiggle" tells you who is online..

How about being able to click on that squiggle to inniate a chat box with them? Or clicking on someones name in a forum if it has got a squiggle next to it (meaning live on-line) also initiates a chat window which is only available to members after so many posts. Have you ever considered a chat system? It could be a good way of preventing "bad taste" posts as anything posted in chat would be very short-lived.
