Double Postings

I've noticed an increasing number of postings appearing twice. Are people having problems submitting - is it hanging/slow?

It takes me ages to get in to your front page, the rest of the site seems fine though, any thoughts Ted?

It's hung up on me twice recently, and been slow three or four times, but then again it is sometimes remarkably quick.

Surely this is an internet thing and down to overcrowded telephone connections.

The only mystery which strikes me is the lightning speed of Google at any time. How do they manage?

I'm connected directly into my hosting company so don't experience general internet delays when reading PH which may explain some of it.

The home page has probably just got too much on it! Might be time for version n+1 of the home page in the next month or so...

The home page seems very slow recently, I've bookmarked the Gassing Station directly as it loads quicker, but I miss anything you've posted on the main site.

It has hung a few times when I've been posting and it vaporised me when I was pretending to be a moderator

Like JB I have bookmarked gassing station, access to which is plenty fast enough, just your front page that seems sloooowww to get into.
