Remembering last visit?

Ted, if I visit at say - 8am, it says last visit at 2300 (or whatever it might be) so I go and have a look around Gassing and disappear off, God forbid, to go and do some work.
Come back an hour or so later and it doesn't recognise my most recent visit - i.e. it will still say 2300.
Is it a setting in my software - I have cookies enabled for PHeads etc.

Mark - this is a really stupid question, but have you logged in? My laptop occasionally decides to log me out and plays up like this. Log back in again and all is well in the world

Yes Greg, always logged in. I have the 'Remember Me' box ticked. Do you mean I should log out each time?

I think I'm correct in saying it depends how you visit.

The 'last visited' time is only updated when you go to the Gassing Station Home page (I think).

If you use the 'mark all read' feature it has the effect of updating the last visited time.

Currently you do need to visit the home page of Gassing rather than dive into What's New. I'll sort that at some point.

I always go in via the gassing homepage. I have started to click on mark all read and that seems to work.
