Need you help Guy's please?
Just recently my Windows Media Player (WMP) is refusing to play ball.
It worked about a month ago, until I installed Musicmatch.
The problem is associated with WAV files, It won't play them! I turned off the WAV association in Musicmatch and defaulted that format back to WMP. WMP initially loads the media player and then I get a window appear that say's,
The operation cannot be performed because the pins are not connected.

What bloody pins?

The windows media help site just says,

You have encountered the following error while using Windows Media Player:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error# 80040209

Sorry, no more help is available for this problem at this time.

As a last ditch bid, I just reinstalled windows and get the same problem.

Any ideas guy's cos there’s a lot of engine rumbles on my PC that I can't listen to.

TYIA for you assistance.

Big Al.
