Notification of posts

When posting on an already established topic, is there an option to be notified when other people subsequently post replies, or can this only be done when I start a new topic?

Currently it's only the topic orginator that can be notified. I have been toying with the idea of letting people subscribe to a thread but it would be subject to a small limit (say 10 or so people) using the current mechanism. I'd have to build a proper mail queue to service greater numbers than that (something which I am also considering doing). So in essence it's something I may implement...
