Commenting on articles

Is there a reason that the comment button on articles doesn't go to the gassing station version of that thread? There only appear to be 5 or 6 posts per page, and the post window (ie. where you type your comment) doesn't seem to have a smilies legend or formatting codes. It's easier for me to read in the normal gassing station layout.

Edit - on re-reading this seems a bit complainy, it's not a complaint, just feedback!
