Ok, here's one for you webheads.
When I send a mail to Lycos which contains the URL www.pistonheads.com it changes the link to www.pistonVOIDs.com. I presume it's some sort of protection against their web pages being compromised.
It doesn't look very good to send someone the IP address of the site or a different URL. Any ideas?

Doesn't the link that we click just say "Click Here" - i.e. the user doesn't see the actual URL the link is going to, thus you could use the IP address without it being obvious??
Alternatively might it be possible to "register" yourself with Lycos somehow so this doesn't happen? Can't understand why they do it, to be honest.
