Q? for PetrolTed re topic titles.

how come I only get 35 or so characters in my topic titles? Other people seem to get 45 characters or more. Is it the version of netscape I am using or some other more 'technical' reason? Just curious, because you have to sometimes rethink your title when posting something. ie this topic title had to be changes 3 times to get what I wanted with the bandwidth available.

Spot on. Netscape fields take up more space on the screen so the field is made smaller. I should change it to allow more characters within the same field width though.

Thanks Ted, it would be good to have more space for titles, as sometimes you choose a title that doesn't quite sound how you meant it.
Just like to say too, what a great site this is, There is a lot of support for MC just now, but I'm sure a lot of credit is due your way for the effort and hard work you put into PH - especially as it is growing so much.
