Yep, reasons are two-fold. One to ensure the correct address for newsletters etc to reduce the number bouncing back and secondly to discourage people making up aliases and sending Mungo abusive mails.

Sorry, getting crossed wires here. When you get the message about having an unverified email address you get a link to click on. That sends you an email. You then click on the link in that email in order to verify that your address is correct. Then everything should work for you. Is some part of that not working?

No, that didn't happen. I got a box to enter my email address into again, but I didn't get a mail through...

OK, I get it now! I clicked on the "edit profile" link instead of the "send email" link. I've been through the full process now!

It's working fine after that, cheers...
