Getting a bit annoyed with Pistonheads

Hi,

Alright, I have only been a member for 18 days, but so far I have been blocked from posting, replying ten times. Apparently I can’t post at certain times of the day, I can participate for a year on the politics thread, I have to fill out constant blimin are you a human tests…

Yet I am getting spammed with Pistonhead emails trying to see me stuff I don’t want or need.

I am human and I am getting fed up with being treated like a bot or a consumer.

Same, I'm not allowed to have a political opinion at the moment as I don't have 1000 posts.

Ah well, at least I'm one step closer now.

Unfortunately I believe there are certain hurdles on certain forums because they attract a lot of abuse. Forums like NPE are best avoided anyway IMHO.

I don't get any 'are you a human' tests, nor spam... be patient, it's well worth it when you're through the rookie stage.

As above , NP&E is best avoided tbh , a cesspool of bitter keyboard warriors with too much spare time . Enjoy PH while you can .

Sorry to hear this. Unfortunately due to spam attacks we have to put these measures in place to help protect the forums. Generally people that sign up to PistonHeads are interested in receiving the content in our emails, but there's an unsubscribe link at the bottom of them all if you'd prefer not to.
