1000 post to be able to post?
Discussion
I get why for some areas of the forum there needs to be restrictions on who can post, but it appears to be set at 1000 posts.
I don't post that often, but have been registered (I was still here long before I registered) since 2016. So far I'm at 381 posts. At this rate I'll be able to post in restricted forums in around 12 years time.
I was thinking maybe the restriction could be a certain number of posts and/or having been a member for a certain period of time? The current way appears to encourage someone to post anything in an attempt to reach 1k posts.
I'm just interested in why it set up the way it is?
