Ted

It seems that some of your banner ads which are embedded flush/suckwave/anim.gifs slow my PC down considerably.. a few of them actually max out my CPU.

I'm heading for my banner blocker. I don't mind the adverts on this site (I even click-thru the odd one), btu when they start giving my computer the arse, they have to go.

I'm IE 6.0.2600.

I'll post the names of any specific ones that do this.. problem is when you click back, the rotator doesn't give you the same banner so I can't go back to see which one just did it to me.

To what?

If you're talking about the PC, well the same happens on my PC at home - Athlon XP 2000 w/512MB DDR333...

Don't try & tell me I need to upgrade that

Yep, I get the same problem on my other PC. I'm not using many Flash banners anymore for a number of reasons, this being one of them. They will be in the minority in future. If I get time I'll introduce a 'preference' feature too.

Get a dual processor PC. That way, you've always got the full attention of at least one processor. I would never go back to a machine with one processor for work purposes.
